The swim starts on Zoll Street Beach in picturesque Little Traverse Bay. It is a rectangular 600 M course in clear, sheltered water. There will be kayaks and marine patrol following each wave.
Racers will run about 100 yards out of the water onto sand and grass, then up the street to the bike racks.
The ride will be an out and back course on M119 following the Lake Michigan Shoreline. It is a 19.6 mile course of rolling hills with one that you will not forget halfway to the turnaround point on the way out. There will be two aid stations and multiple vehicles and volunteers along the course to cheer you on. The last three miles are straight and fast to hammer home.
Racers will return their bikes to the park where they started, throw on their shoes, and begin running.
The run is fast and the scenery is gorgeous. It is an out and back 4 mile course, finishing at the transition area. There will be an aid station at the turnaround point and plenty of volunteers cheering for you along the way.
